Description

The LightCycler Instrument is a rapid thermal cycler, combined with a micro-volume fluorimeter utilizing high quality optics from Rodenstock (a renowned manufacturer of high quality optics). Heating and cooling are controlled by alternating heated and ambient air as the medium for temperature transfer. Due to the low mass of this medium, very rapid temperature transition rates can be achieved within the thermal chamber.
