Description

Direct infrared fluorescence detection on the Odyssey® Imaging System quantifies low-abundance proteins that chemiluminescence cant. Infrared detection effectively eliminates background fluorescence, resulting in clear, sharp bands. Strong and weak bands on the same blot are accurately imaged without the uncertainty of multiple exposures needed with chemiluminescence. Bands that are hidden in overexposed areas with chemiluminescence suddenly become clear when imaged with the Odyssey System.
